COUNTIES DIRECTIONAL DRILLING
Projects
Kiwirail project (Location 6)
Counties Directional Drilling removed 22kv line from the Kiwirail Corridor to enable Counties Energy to build an electric train line from Papakura to Pukekohe.
We thrust 2 x 140mm HDPE electrical duct 5km from Cape Hill Road along Paerata Road to new high voltage switching units.
Balle Bros paddock irrigation
Farming business Balle Bros required access to water to irrigate their potato and onion fields.
Counties Directional Drilling thrusted water pressure pipe under the road from water bores to connect to irrigators.
New subdivision connection
Our client, Draeinail, needed a 180PE gradient sewer line to be installed from an existing manhole to new subdivision.
At 3m, the pipe was too deep to excavate. Instead we dug up either end and thrust it through from an existing sewer wastewater line into the new subdivision connection.
Paerata Culvert Rebuild
Counties Directional Drilling worked with HEB Construction, drilling underneath the live line to ensure traffic wasn’t affected.
To avoid excavating the main road, we rerouted existing underground utilities, including gas, sewer, fibre, and 3x electrical ducts.
